I did enjoy his rhetoric - very amusing

On Hitchens, he was a funny guy and some of his points on religion were dead on. But he wasn't perfect. No one is, sadly.

he used cunning lingual abilities to further his agenda and to self-agrandize himself the same as assholes like jerry falwell

and of course his muslim bashing to him to the point where he advocated the reckless slaughter of millions of brown people

you wouldn't get things like "protestant worksmanship" if it mattered so much

maybe it says so in the texts, but this overlooks a far more significant point

i'd say his christian bashing went ludicrously too far as he kept insisting that the lessons of jesus are to pay no mind for the morrow and not care about thrift

I'm with the both of you. He was a drinker and a Sophist. It coule be worse, He was entertaining and personally honest after all and not many can honestly claim that.
